This information is provided as a general eligibility guideline only. Because medical conditions and medications vary, only your licensed medical provider can determine what is safe for you.
If you have any medical condition currently managed by a physician, it is your responsibility to confirm that cosmetic tattooing is appropriate for you and to obtain any required medical clearance prior to your appointment.
If required medical clearance is not provided at the time of your appointment, the appointment cannot proceed and the booking fee will be forfeited. A new booking fee will be required to reschedule.

Medical clearance is required before the day of your appointment if you are under a physician’s care for any of the following:
Autoimmune or immunocompromised conditions
Diabetes or heart conditions
Epilepsy or seizure disorders
History of keloid or abnormal scarring
Use of blood-thinning medications
Use of medications that affect healing or immune response
Recent surgery or cosmetic procedures in the treatment area
Requirement for prophylactic antibiotics prior to dental procedures
Chronic or significant skin conditions (eczema, psoriasis, rosacea, shingles) in or near the treatment area
Moles or freckles in the treatment area (may require dermatology clearance)
Cosmetic tattooing cannot be performed if any of the following apply:
Pregnancy
Breastfeeding
Active chemotherapy or radiation
Accutane / Isotretinoin use within the past 12 months
Active skin infection, open wounds, rash, or dermatologic condition in the treatment area
Active cold sores the day of your service/ HSV outbreak
Blood-borne infectious diseases, including Hepatitis
Uncontrolled bleeding or clotting disorders, including hemophilia
Active illness or immune suppression that may impair healing
Inability to follow pre- or post-care instructions
