Do
Stay hydrated
Cleanse gently 2× daily with a fragrance-free cleanser
Pat dry with a clean tissue — never rub
Apply a very thin layer of balm to keep lips hydrated
Use a straw when possible for 7–10 days
Use SPF once healed
Don't
Pick, peel, or rub the area
Allow water to saturate the area — other than cleansing
Use lip products other than what is provided for 7–10 days
Sweat heavily, work out, or use steam for 10–14 days
Consume extra spicy, salty, or oily foods for the first 3 days
Use teeth whitening products for 14 days
Expose lips to sun or tanning beds without protection once healed
Use active skincare until 4 weeks after your final session
Kiss anyone or animals during the initial healing stage
How you care for your lips in the first two weeks directly impacts your healed results.
```
Day 1
Lips appear darker and more saturated than the final result. Mild swelling and tenderness are normal.
Days 2–4
Color may still appear bold and dark. Swelling begins to subside. Lips may feel dry or tight.
Days 5–7
Peeling and flaking begins. Color may look patchy or uneven. Do not pick or peel.
Days 8–10
Most peeling has resolved. Lips may appear lighter or faded while the true color develops beneath the surface.
Days 10–14
Lips begin to soften and settle. Color appears more natural, but results are still developing.
3–4 Weeks
Color appears soft and natural. The skin is healed. Your second session refines shape, fills any gaps, and supports the final result.
Every skin type heals differently. Second session required 8–12 weeks after your first session.
